Your film sits in front of Black and Muslim households in the UK, North America, West and East Africa and the Gulf. The same shelf as our originals, with subtitles in English, French, Arabic and Hausa handled by us.
Revenue share is 55/45 in the creator's favour on attributed watch time, with monthly statements and payouts from £50. Licence fees are flat: half on signature, half on delivery. No recoupment maze.
You will never be asked to explain why a character prays, or to soften a story for a general audience. Faith-conscious and culturally specific work is the catalogue here, not a niche row at the bottom of it.
Every complete submission gets written feedback from a commissioner, whatever the answer. Titles we take on get access to in-house grade, mix and localisation, plus rights guidance before you sign anything.
Three ways a project can come to BMT. Which one fits depends on how finished the work is and how much of it you want to keep.
Your film is finished and you want it seen and paid for. BMT buys a streaming window for agreed territories and a fixed term; you keep the negative and everything outside that window.
For finished work that suits a rolling release. It goes live on BMT Direct after standards review and earns a share of subscription revenue based on how much of it people actually watch.
For projects still in development. BMT Studios puts cash, crew and post facilities into the budget alongside your finance, and rights are split in proportion to what each side brings.
Four steps from first email to release slot. Every complete submission is read by a human commissioner.
Title, one-paragraph synopsis, genre, region and a link to sample material, a pilot, a sizzle, a short, or previous work. A treatment or script sample helps but is not required to start.
A commissioner reads every complete submission. Expect two to four weeks. If the pitch is close but not ready we will say what is missing rather than sending a form rejection.
One of three answers: commission (we develop and fund it), license (we buy a window on finished work), or pass, with the reason in writing so the next pitch is stronger.
Contracting, delivery specs and a release slot on BMT Direct. Marketing, subtitling and localisation are handled in-house, and you get watch-time reporting from launch day.

Pitched as a nine-page treatment by a first-time director with one short to her name. BMT Studios funded development, then the full series, it opened as our most-watched launch to date.
A Nigerian production company had two thirds of the budget and no route to audiences outside West Africa. BMT closed the gap, took UK, EU and North American rights, and left home territory with the producers.
A finished documentary that had played festivals for a year without a streaming home. We licensed a 24-month exclusive window; the filmmaker kept theatrical and broadcast rights entirely.
